Over the past 5 years Rails Camp has become one of the most anticipated and talked about events on every discerning developer’s calendar. The next Australian Rails Camp, the 12th of its kind, will take place in Port Sorell, Tasmania between November 16th and 19th.
As usual, the weekend will be packed with a whole bunch of hacking, chatting, drinking and more than a few head turning projects.
Tickets include accommodation (including bedding), food, drinks and a t-shirt. You can either sleep in bunk beds or you can camp in the surrounding area.
For interstate visitors who wish to fly into Launceston, we've arranged buses to take railscampers from Launceston (via the airport) to the campsite (and back) at no additional cost. The bus will depart Launceson CBD at 3:30 PM on Friday, November 16, stop briefly at Launceston airport approx 4:00 PM to pick up further campers, and leave the campsite around 9:00 AM on Monday, November 19. We will aim to have people dropped back at the airport by 10:30AM on Monday.
